The Lincoln County Courthouse is one block west of the intersection at Hwy. 101 and Hwy. 20 at 225 W. Olive Street. The clerk's office is open 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday in Room 201.
Both bride and groom must appear with appropriate ID (such as a valid driver's license or ID card) and must be at least 18 years old (or 17 if accompanied by a parent who will sign a consent form.)
The fee is $60.00 in cash only. There is a 3 day waiting period, though it can be waived for an additional $10.00 fee, making the license valid immediately.
If either the bride or groom has been divorced within the past 6 months, they will need to bring a copy of their final divorce decree.
The license is good for 60 days and blood tests are not required.
